I Found this Box of Tapes- Eric's Trip@Lee's 1995
Hello.
I found this box of tapes. Maybe this blog is why it never got tossed.
Much of it its live recordings i did myself with a mono tape deck. no soundboard here. just fan-dom bootlegs. The rest is tapes you probably could not find, even then, even if you wanted to.
Once in a while I'll' share a rip down.
Lets open big with:
Eric's Trip. Lee's Palace, All Ages, November 1995.
It is not my recording. but my most favorite "tape trade" score... because I was there:
** I was lucky enough to have Julie field my questions, for my zine, after this classic "all ages show". I was 15. I was in heaven.
** I was also lucky enough at this same show, to catch a stray broken drumstick, compliments of Marky G. It ricocheted into the crowd on a real hard hit,
** .. and to have my Elevator to Hell LP Parts1/2 signed by all involved.
**...and to have my Love Tara CD back inlay sleeve signed, so that, when I swapped out a clear tray, and you lifted the CD, the 4 signatures would be visible... yeah.
Note: The B-side track: "finale" is actually Rick and Mark doing a "mary and death" feedback session. Ill upload that when I do the B-Side: Pop Explosion 95.
So it begins: Eric's Trip - Live @ Lee's. 'afternoon' Nov 95 (*mislabeled as May 11, 95)
Watch for live sets from Plumtree, Julie Doiron, Snailhouse, Peter Elkas, Craig Cardiff, Elevator, Eric's Trip, Wooden Stars, etc.
